About TeachMaths.net

TeachMaths.net helps mathematics teachers reduce planning effort, create fresh resources and bring mathematical ideas to life. It combines configurable question generators, classroom activities and interactive visual tools, with the teacher at the centre of everything we do.

More resources, less preparation

Finding the right questions should not mean starting from scratch for every lesson. Create is designed to make that preparation easier: choose a topic, adjust the available settings and generate questions that fit what you want to teach.

Use worksheets for independent practice, project questions for discussion, or choose formats such as Intelligent Practice, hinge questions and My Turn / Your Turn. Generate fresh examples as you revisit a topic, giving pupils further opportunities to practise while keeping preparation manageable.

Designed around your classroom

You know your pupils and the purpose of your lesson. TeachMaths.net is designed to support that professional judgement, with clear controls that help you configure questions and choose how to present them.

The aim is straightforward: well-designed resources that are easy to adapt, clear to read and practical to use in a busy classroom.

Bring mathematics to life

TeachMaths.net began with interactive visual tools, and these remain an important part of the site. Digital manipulatives and visual models help pupils connect abstract notation with something they can see, change and discuss.

Alongside Create, the mathematics tools, whole-class games and computing tools offer further ways to explain ideas, explore relationships and involve pupils in the lesson.

Built by a teacher, shaped by feedback

TeachMaths.net is built by a UK mathematics teacher and is currently in open beta. The whole site is being developed and refined, with classroom usefulness guiding its direction.

Feedback from teachers helps identify what works, what needs improving and which resources would make the greatest difference. To report an issue or suggest an improvement, email help@teachmaths.net.
